Al-Marsad newspaper: The Saudi riyal recorded a new high against the Egyptian pound today, Thursday, as today’s trading began, and the Saudi riyal’s rally came in buying and selling operations in Egyptian banks.
The price of the Saudi riyal in government banks, namely the national and Egyptian banks, reached £6.54 for buying and £6.56 for selling, while its price in Faisal Islamic Bank reached around £6. £54 to buy and £6.58 to sell.
The price of the Kuwaiti dinar surged in Egyptian banks against the Egyptian pound, recording its highest price pending the decisions of the Central Bank of Egypt. The price of the Kuwaiti dinar in the National Bank of Egypt recorded a buy level of £77.27, and £80.09 on sale.
While the price of the Emirati dirham reached £6.69 for buying and £6.70 for selling, and the price of the Bahraini dinar reached £63.49 for buying and £65.31 for selling sale, while the price of the Qatari riyal reached £6.30 when buying, and £6.73, and the price of the Jordanian dinar reached £34.17 when buying, and £34.71 when selling .
This increase comes amid news of a new price of the Egyptian pound against the dollar, as the dollar is expected to rise significantly against the Egyptian pound in the coming days.
