Inchala arrived home in March 2013. She was about 2 months old. After my break up with Olivier Dion who was allergic to cats, my first instinct was to adopt one. It was February and there were no cats anywhere … I did some research and finally found a litter of abandoned and motherless kittens in Magog. I chose the little tabby.

Why did you choose this name?

It was a bit of a ridiculous play on words: A cat. This sentence also means “God willing” … As if to say, what will happen will happen.

Are you more of a “cat” or “dog”?

The sound of the harmonica thrills her. If I play, it arrives in less than 2 seconds and it becomes quite sticky. She also has disturbing tastes. She loves lime and she’s also fond of plastic. She has a fascination with bags of celery!

I went to Banker with animals with Inchala. I had told people that she was not social, but … On the set, it was very difficult with her. She has quite a character. Remember its little bipolar side! Eventually, I had to borrow someone else’s cat to finish the show.

Sleep on his blanket. No matter where I place her blanket in the house, she settles there.

What is her favorite place?

I often find her basking in a ray of sunlight entering the house.

What would you have liked to know before getting this animal?

She often had patches on her body that I associated with stress. I recently learned that she was allergic to chicken at the vet. So I changed his diet accordingly. Since that time the plaques have not returned.

Who takes care of your pet when you go on tour?

When I have to leave for the long term, my parents will keep it. The problem is, they have two other cats … So it’s often war!
