Al-Marsad Journal: Professor of Renal and Endoscopic Surgery, Dr. Khaled Al-Otaibi, has revealed the most important signs that afflict humans, through which he can identify that he has a deficiency in kidney function.
He explained, through the “In the Picture” program broadcast on the “Rotana Gulf” channel, that one of the most obvious signs of kidney failure is swelling of the extremities of the feet due to fluid accumulation, as well as swelling of the face, noting that the change in urine color does not reflect kidney failure, but tests reveal the problem.
Dr. Al-Otaibi added: “If protein is found in a high percentage in the urinalysis, this is a sign of kidney failure.” He pointed out that the onset of kidney failure can affect a person without pain, but he noted that the pain in the kidneys is in the back, left and right if I found stones, indicating that itching could be due to the accumulation of toxins. in the body due to insufficient kidney function.
