Play Studios and Rare released a developer diary dedicated to the upcoming premiere Battletoads, the first game of the famous battle toad series in the last two decades, since 1991.
And in it, the creators of the game said that they take work with all seriousness, but they hope that the result will be as frivolous and even insane as possible. And they illustrated this idea with fragments of plot screensavers created by hand.
Legendary heroes Rush, Sitz and Pimple, toads from deep space, return for new adventures. They have to defeat the armies of the Dark Queen, who is going to conquer the galaxy. And this can be done both solo and in co-op for three.
New Battletoads will be released on August 20, 2020 on PC (including via Steam) and Xbox One. The game will be available to subscribers Xbox Game Pass.-
