In the Khabarovsk Territory of Russia, the An-26 aircraft, on board of which there were six people, disappeared from the radar. There is no communication with the ship, reports TASS citing a source in emergency services on Wednesday 22 September.
It is indicated that the aircraft was performing a technical flight to check communications. It belongs to ZAO Flight Checks and Systems. An-26 disappeared 38 km south-west of the Khabarovsk-Tsentralny airfield.
The regional government said that a helicopter sent to search for the missing An-26 could not find it due to poor visibility.
“Bad weather, most likely, will send ground teams. The crew did not report any problems on board,” – said in the message.
