In the Czech capital on Friday, July 2, one of the pavilions of the local trade and exhibition complex caught fire, as a result of which the roof of the structure collapsed, informs Czech television.
It is noted that the fire on Beranovykh Street in the Letняany region occurred during the exhibition of tourist tents, but due to the early time the entrance to the hall was closed. 14 fire brigades arrived at the scene of the emergency and fought the fire for almost two hours. There were no casualties.
The smoke from the fire could be seen tens of kilometers away. Residents of the area were advised not to open windows. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
Preliminarily, the amount of damage is at least 150 million kroons (over 19 million hryvnia).
Previously at Romania’s largest oil refinery there was an explosion, after which the fire started. One died and four people were injured.
