They were immediately taken to the town’s health post where the doctor on duty provided first aid and urgently referred him to the Sinais Vitais clinic in Bosconia, but when the doctors arrived they confirmed the death, which occurred on the way. .
Residents of the town indicated that the child could possibly have been saved if an oxygen tank that the little boy needed to stay alive had been available at the town’s healthcare center.
The community calls on the Ministry of Health so that the health post has better conditions and is equipped for emergency care.
