Artist Sherif Idris revealed the nature of his illness, which is acute nerve inflammation and spasm in the back muscles.
Idris wrote a post on his official Facebook page: “Good morning.. Thank you from my heart to all my loved ones who have been trying to check on me since yesterday.. and I apologize for not responding.”
He added: “In short, my back has been bothering me for a while and it has affected my legs because I have a herniated disc in my lumbar vertebrae and I neglected it. I was taking painkillers and taking painkillers. Yesterday I was bringing things home with my wife and I started to get unnaturally tired and suddenly I got complete stiffness in the lower part with all kinds of The pain you can imagine…and I tried to bear it and take a painkiller, but the situation turned so that in an instant I felt that my back would literally break, and there was pain in all the extremities of both my legs, and my tears fell from so much pain that it was real.”
He continued: “I went to Wadi El Nil Hospital, where I thank all the emergency staff. I did an initial x-ray. The doctor said, ‘I was going to let you in for an MRI, but from what I see from the x-rays, it will not work, and you will not be able to handle even the MRI machine.’ He showed me the shape of my back muscles, literally spasming. They gave me solutions. Painkillers and medications were prescribed for me to take for five days of complete rest. After that, I would get an X-ray and begin a treatment journey. But to be honest, I saw and felt indescribable pain as a result of severe nerve inflammation. Thank God for everything. Thank you.”
It is noteworthy that Sherif Idris’s latest work is the series “Al-Kanto Market” 2023, starring Amir Karara, Mai Ezz El-Din, Fathi Abdel-Wahab, Mahmoud Al-Bazawi, written by Hani Sarhan, directed by Hussein Al-Manbawi.
