In Lithuania, 41 people were confirmed infected with the new coronavir last day, the Ministry of Health announced on Sunday.
Thus, in Lithuania, infection with this virus was detected in a total of 2635 people.
Of the 41 newly detected cases, nine occurred abroad. 25 cases are related to certain foci in Kaunas – among the employees of three companies and in the beauty salon, as well as in Vilnius – among the employees and choir of one company. In three cases, the infection occurred through contact with infected family members. In four cases, it is not yet known where the infection occurred.
