Earlier it became known that the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine on the first day of 2020 fell 5.3 times compared with the December average. If the average transit volume in December was 261 million cubic meters, and on December 31 220.05 million cubic meters were pumped through the Ukrainian gas transmission system, then on January 1 this figure amounted to only 49.3 million cubic meters of gas. At the same time, transit volumes on January 2 decreased even more – up to 38.8 million cubic meters.- .
