It is noted that the incident took place during the procession to the patronal feast day in the church of the Holy Martyr Valery Melitinsky on the territory of the Hydropark.
The deceased was the wife of Archpriest Sergei Kotsar, rector of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord on Vyrlitsa.
“During the procession with a gust of wind, a tree fell on Matushka Maria and she died on the spot from her injuries. She was 35 years old,” the message says. “Father has four children.”
