In honor of the winners at the conclusion of the “Arab Music Festival” in Cairo

Egypt’s Minister of Culture, Nevin Al-Kilani, honors the winners of the Arab Music Festival and Conference Competitions, organized by the Opera House over two weeks.

The activities of the 31st edition of the Arab Music Festival and Conference, organized by the Egyptian Opera House in Cairo, ended last night in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Nevin Al-Kilani.

During the ceremony, Al-Kilani awarded the winners of the festival competitions. The “Singing for Youth” competition was won by Ahmed Abdel Aziz in first place, Muhammad Tariq Mustafa in second and Luay Ahmed Mohamed in third.

While the “Singing contest for people with special abilities” won first place, Ziad Ibrahim Abdel Salam, Ahmed Sharif Al-Sheikh in second and Muhammad Ayman in third.

As for the “Excellence in Playing” competition, Muhammad Ayman Kandil won the oud, George Medhat Shafiq, the keyboard, and Khaled Mustafa Abdel Moneim Hajjaj, the pianist. He received a certificate of appreciation for Ahmed Muhammad Abu Qassem for playing the guitar, Muhammad Abdul Aziz Mahmoud for playing the flute and Tunisian Ghaith Azzouz for playing the keyboard.

The activities of the Arab Music Festival and Conference were launched on October 20 last year, withAbout 100 singers, musicians and musicians from 9 countries participated. The evenings took place in the theaters of the Opera House in the cities of Cairo, Alexandria and Damanhour.
