In Burgas today the memory of Vanya Kostova is honored. Her songs will be heard from all cultural institutions in the city throughout the day. Exactly at 12.00 an external sound system was turned on at the Flora Expo Center, the Municipality building, the Cultural House of Petrochemistry, the Sea Casino and the Youth Cultural Center.
Under the symbol of the city – the clock, a special corner was formed, where everyone can leave a flower for the star of the Bulgarian stage, and many citizens of Burgas came to do it.

Kostova passed away suddenly yesterday, shortly after she turned 64. According to unofficial information from “24 Chasa”, she died of a heart attack, and it is possible that result of post-covid syndrome – she contracted the coronavirus early last month. On her birthday – April 18, the singer felt better.
A week ago in Veliko Tarnovo Vanya Kostova gave her last concert, and on August 1 at the Summer Theater in Burgas her unforgettable songs will be sung in her memory.
“Vanya must be remembered for the way she interpreted, she didn’t dance on stage, she didn’t wander left and right. She stood still and excited people with her voice, not her movements.
