In Boston, digital teaching works differently than in Gundelfingen – Gundelfingen

Ludger Jgerskpper, once a teacher at Gundelfinger Gymnasium, now teaches in Boston. There are differences between distance learning in schools – but there are also similarities.

The everyday life of very many people has been turned inside out in the past few weeks. Schoolchildren and teachers are also forced to discover and break new ground in learning and teaching. This applies to the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium (ASG) in Gundelfingen as well as across the Atlantic to the German International School (GIS) in Boston, where former ASG teacher Ludger Jgerskpper teaches.

At the ASG, since the school closed in mid-March, the students have been given work assignments that they can access every morning from eight o’clock on the school website. Send your results to your teacher by email. In addition, there are video conferencing in some classes and courses. Some things are clarified by phone or chat.
