PR1 / Mathiasen Motorsports has announced the composition of its crew for the TireRack.com Grand Prix which will take place this Saturday on the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta circuit.
Simon Trummer, Patrick Kelly and rookie Scott Huffaker will take turns at the wheel of the # 52 ORECA 07 which will play in LMP2. The latter has a long-standing relationship with PR1 / Mathiasen, which spans several years. Starting in 2016, the 20-year-old American driver competed in the Pacific F2000 and rose through the ranks in single-seater to win the Formula Pro USA F4 Championship two years later. Last year he won the Team USA Scholarship while driving the PR1 / Mathiasen LMP3 finishing second in the IMSA Prototype Challenge Series.
