– I have always been a Reodor Felgen type. This was just a fun thing to do to impress my friends. Cheating the system gave me an adrenaline rush. I only fitted it to one of my cars and it was mostly a gimmick. I had no financial motive, because it wasn’t the big money I saved, he says.

– The car is only used in winter

Prosecutor Siw Skogstad believes the man must be sentenced to 45 days’ suspended prison and a fine of NOK 20,000.

However, the man himself believes that there is no question of more than three years of defrauding the toll companies.

– The car in question is only used in winter. I have a sports car that I use during the summer months. Therefore, there is a maximum of six months a year. In addition, I take vacation in the winter. I may have saved a maximum of six or seven thousand in these years, he says.
