Friday’s game between the Montreal Impact and Toronto FC came close to not taking place.
So much so that some of the Montreal eleven have said they are not happy playing after everything that has unfolded in the United States in the past few days.

Defensemen Zachary Brault-Guillard and Rudy Camacho were also very hard on Toronto FC, since the organization was absolutely keen, according to the Impact players, to play the game.
“We did not want to be there, but they want to … We will follow the movement, we will defend our colors and we will do that for our supporters, Camacho explained before the meeting.”
Brault-Guillard had also added that there were some TFC players who looked like real angels in front of the cameras, but who were in fact real demons.
According to analyst Hassoun Camara, players are frustrated at not being able to show solidarity with the “Black Lives Matter” movement.
