JAKARTA – BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BPJSTK) has started disseminating information to all companies to encourage workers to immediately submit their account numbers to receive wage assistance of IDR 600 thousand per month from September to December 2020.

The Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah said that as of today, there are already 3.5 million worker accounts that have been deposited into BPJSTK data out of 15,725,232 total potential beneficiaries of this assistance.

“I think if you get help during the hard times, sir? It should be fast. Hopefully if the account number is recorded properly in BPJSTK, hopefully in August 2020 we can start,” said Ida in Jakarta, Tuesday (11/8). / 2020).

According to Ida, the challenge in distributing this assistance was data collection on workers’ account numbers. This is because the Rp. 600 thousand aid will later be transferred directly to the recipient’s account.

Whether this aid program is fast or not very much depends on the data that will be validated by BPJSTK. “The faster the participant’s account numbers are collected, the faster the economic turnover will occur. Because the government can immediately transfer the money,” concluded Ida.
