KOMPAS.com – Immanuel EbenezerVolunteer General Leader Jokowi Mania (JoMan) was removed from his position as a commissioner at a state-owned subsidiary, PT Mega Eltra.
Contacted by Kompas.com on Wednesday (23/2/2022), Immanuel confirmed the news of his removal from the commissioner position at PT Mega Eltra.
“Yes, that’s true,” said Immanuel.
Immanuel said that information regarding his dismissal as a commissioner of a subsidiary of BUMN had been informed. However, the reason for the termination was not explained.
“Dismissed. It was told, but the reason was not told. For no reason,” Ebenezer said.
Previously, Immanuel Ebenezer was a light witness for the defendant Munarman in the continued trial of the alleged criminal act of terrorism at the East Jakarta District Court (PN) on February 23, 2022.

Asked about the connection between his removal as a commissioner and his status as a mitigating witness for Munarman, Immanuel suspected it was only a momentum.
Because, as reported KOMPAS.com on Wednesday (23/3/2022), Immanuel suspected that there were many parties who were not happy with his actions who often criticized the performance of aides of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who were considered poor.
“I think it’s just a momentum. The incident I was present as a witness was used as a gap to remove (from the commissioner),” he explained.
Immanuel emphasized that even though he was removed from his position as commissioner of a subsidiary of BUMN, he would still support President Jokowi.
