On Monday, May 30, new US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink presented her credentials at the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Brink said that in addition to presenting letters of commendation, she also discussed ways to support Ukraine in the war against Russia.
It is worth noting that the transfer of credentials actually means that Brink has already officially begun her mission and has taken the position of US Ambassador to Ukraine.
At the same time, the position has been vacant since May 2019, when the Donald Trump administration recalled Marie Yovanovitch to Washington.
