Three years without updates should be a warning. Apple has not made any significant updates to the graphite gray iMac Pro since its launch in 2017, apart from introducing a few more configuration options.
When will it end for the pro-oriented all-in-one Mac, which could easily cost over NOK 100,000 in the rawest configuration with an 18-core Intel Xeon W processor.

As long as the inventory lasts, it’s on Apple’s website now, and they’re confirmed that the iMac Pro will disappear, and the only version available is the version with a 10-core Intel Xeon W processor, 32 GB of memory, Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics processor – and 1 TB SSD storage.
It is expected that Apple will update the iMacs with the new Apple (M1) processor during 2021, which has far better performance than Intel’s processors.
