The Swiss hockey players scored their second victory at the World Championships in Riga. In Sunday’s match in the “Slovak” A-group they defeated Denmark 1: 0 and they have the full number of 6 points on their account. Their triumph was decided by Timo Meier in the 14th minute.

One of the main referees of the match was the Slovak Peter Stano, his compatriot Šimon Synek helped him on the lines.
The Danes will play their third match at the championship on Tuesday after a day off with Great Britain (3.15 pm), the Swiss will meet Sweden at 7.15 pm on the same day.
