Top officials of the ICE Hockey League, Austria’s Minister of Health Rudolf Anschober and representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Sports met on Wednesday for “very constructive talks”, as the league subsequently announced. Anschober referred to the problem with indoor sports. “Of course, indoor sports with lots of physical contact and lots of fans are difficult. Health protection, like everywhere else, is the focus of ice hockey, ”said Anschober. As in football, he hoped for a specific regulation with a high level of protection. “A constructive start talk made me optimistic that this could succeed. But there are still important questions to be answered. “
