On Saturday night, one person was stabbed in a nightclub in Lillestrøm. – It was like a gang fight, a witness tells VG.
It was Sunday morning an arrested person and targeted the accident. This is confirmed by the lawyer serving in the eastern police district, Harald Holmsen, in VG.
Three other people were also reported after the stabbing, and police have been working since Sunday morning to detain them.
A 20-year-old man was taken to Ullevål hospital after the crash, but has no life-threatening injuries.
A woman VG has been in contact with claims that there was “complete chaos” inside the Lillestrøm nightclub.
– It was traumatic. It was like a gang fight in a nightclub, packed with people, she says.
– How to light dynamite
The witness doesn’t remember when she arrived at the disco, but she remembers that there were many people and queues at the bar that evening, which started peacefully.
– I had a little chat with a guy in line at the bar. Next, I saw someone in a dark suit approaching the table he was sitting at. I saw him getting angry and it escalated very quickly. It was like lighting dynamite, says the witness.
According to her, there were at least two people who approached this table where the fight started.
He then saw the nightclub guards approaching the table.
– The guards spoke to the man I spoke to, but he was still very angry. He quickly exited, followed by the guards, the witness says, adding that he believes everyone involved in the initial commotion was taken from the room.
He jumped onto the counter
The woman then went to the bathroom. Afterward, the person she spoke to and several others re-entered the room, she says.
– The man I was talking to jumped on the counter and took off his shirt, according to her.
By then a fight should have broken out, the music should have been turned off and the guests should have been evacuated, says the witness.
She says it was hard to figure out what had happened afterwards, and that she herself didn’t see anyone being stabbed.
– We went out the back and heard the sirens. Everyone was shocked, she says.
– Were you afraid?
– I am more influenced by those around me. Those who had been closest to the crash were paralyzed. I am mostly concerned with the safety of others, replies the witness.
The suspicion of several people involved
Police lawyer Harald Holmsen says he suspects several people are involved and is not ruling out further arrest decisions.
The arrested person will be interrogated during the day. Matters relating to detention will be decided during the day.
– Needless to say, it will be considered. Especially when we haven’t arrested the other three, she says.
The people involved know each other.
– I would like to point out that there is no reason to believe that people who are careless in a night club are attacked in a night club. These had a relationship to each other.
