Hyundai Extends Warranty for Cars Worldwide Due to COVID-19 :: Autonews

Hyundai has announced an extension of the warranty for more than 1.21 million cars around the world whose owners have encountered difficulties visiting the service amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This was reported by the press service of the automaker.

Hyundai CARE program covers cars from 175 countries. In Russia, the action extended to cars, the warranty for which expires from March 30 to April 30, 2020. The terms of free maintenance of cars were extended until the end of May 2020.

Hyundai was not the only company to announce special promotions during the period of restrictions against the background of the fight against coronavirus in Russia. So, Kia extended the warranty for all its cars, the service life of which ends between April 1 and June 30, 2020.

The Chinese company Haval decided to expand the service interval by 1000 km in connection with the introduced self-isolation mode. The promotion has been extended to any maintenance account. Volvo, in turn, announced the zeroing of the rent for subscribing to its cars in April.
