According to the police, an elderly Romanian man who was illegally staying on the highway was run over when he was swept away by a car, the driver of which was probably a foreign citizen, police spokeswoman Berki Bianka Szabóné told the channel.
RTL knows that several tourist buses stopped at the Annahegy rest area, one of which got off the old man, who for unknown reasons left for the other side. He reached the concrete in the middle of the highway, then turned back, and then he was hit by the driver of the gray car, who left the scene without leaving his details. He is wanted for failure to act.
According to the channel, his fellow passengers and the bus drivers searched for the man for a long time in the dark, but eventually moved on. According to the Híradó reporter, at least forty cars drove over the man who had been run over, but none of them stopped to help. The police are looking for them, whoever they find is questioned.
