We have all wondered one day while following a truck if its cargo is really well secured. This Friday, August 18, a dozen motorists got the answer by following a heavyweight carrying iron bars, and not necessarily the one they were hoping for.
Damage to ten vehicles
The scene took place around 4 p.m. on the A31 in the direction of Beaune Nancy near Til-Chatel in Côte-d’Or. A bar separated from the truck before bouncing on the road. Surprised, the drivers of the cars following the truck did not have time to react to avoid it and rolled over the scrap metal pile. They were all damaged, some on the bodywork, others on their fuel tank. One can imagine the beautiful fright that these motorists offered themselves. Fortunately, this accident, which could have had a dramatic outcome, caused no injuries.
