My question to you is whether you have ever broken off contact with a parent because you noticed that it was not doing you any good. For me it is the case that I get a real stomach ache when my father just calls. Over the years he has broken, criticized, abused so much and sometimes he wouldn’t call me for weeks and say I’m no longer his daughter.
Do you have experiences how you cut the contact? Did you tell the person that you no longer want contact?
