A barn and the adjoining house were engulfed in flames on Friday evening around 9 p.m. in Courroux (JU). No one was injured but the damage is very important, the Jura cantonal police said in a statement on Friday.

There were no animals in the barn at the time of the fire. The latter was brought under control around 11 p.m., the police said.
