The leader North Korea (Jewelry) Kim Jong Un said his country was “ready to mobilize” its nuclear deterrent in the event of a military clash with United States of America and South Korea.
Reported from the news agency AFPOn Thursday (07/28/2022), in his latest speech to mark the ceasefire that ended fighting in the Korean War – known as “Victory Day” in North Korea – Kim said the country’s armed forces were “completely prepared” for any crisis.
“Antidote nuclear our country is also ready to mobilize its absolute power appropriately, accurately and promptly according to its mission,” said Kim Jong Un in his speech on Wednesday (27/7), according to North Korea’s official news agency, KCNA.

Previously, Washington and Seoul had repeatedly warned that Pyongyang was preparing to do so nuclear test seventh – a move the United States has warned would trigger a “quick and strong” response.
Addressing war veterans on the 69th anniversary of the end of the 1950-53 Korean War, Kim stressed the country’s “overall readiness” to “handle any military clash with United States of America“.
His latest threat came as South Korea and the United States stepped up joint military exercises, which has always infuriated North Korea because Pyongyang sees it as a rehearsal for invasion.
This week, the US military held live-fire drills using state-of-the-art Apache helicopters deployed to South Korea for the first time since 2019.
