The Thousand Islands Police are investigating the findings bodies of 5 crew members (ABK) Starindo Jaya Maju VI Ship. The five bodies of the victims were found inside freezer on the ship.

The police then asked the number of crew members to the skipper. When the police checked, it turned out that the number of crew members did not match the manifest.

“Because there are so many members to check the manifest, how come it doesn’t match,” he added.

The police also saw suspicious signs from the crew members, so the police conducted an investigation. Until finally, the crew admitted that there were 5 friends who had died and were kept inside freezer.

“After it was found out that he died, he was asked where his position was, it turned out that he was kept at freezer, “he said.

The patrol members then reported the findings of the body to AKBP Morry. Morry then ordered his members to dock the ship to the Marina Ship.

Arriving at Marina Beach, the skipper and the crew were tested rapid. While the five bodies were sent to the National Police Hospital for divisum.

“Because we are worried whether this victim died because of COVID-19, so we test all the crew members,” he said.

The data for the five victims were Muhammad Zulkarnain, Putra Enggal Pradana, Khairul Muttaqin, Miftahul Huda, and Muhammad Sonhaji.

Currently the Thousand Islands Police are still investigating the findings of the corpse. The police examined a number of crew members and the captain of the ship.
