Already released in China, Honor’s two laptops are finally arriving internationally. The MagicBook 14 and 15 take advantage of innovations from Huawei’s MateBook X Pro and will be sold at aggressive prices.

The Honor MagicBook 14 and 15 are not new PCs. Unveiled in November 2019, they were previously reserved for the Chinese market. But these models will ultimately be well distributed internationally, as the manufacturer said at a conference held yesterday in Barcelona. Two computers more than interesting, since in addition to offering the innovations introduced with the MateBook X Pro from Huawei, they are marketed at affordable prices.
Two models are available: one 14 inch, the other 15.6 inch. They have an IPS screen with a definition of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, as well as an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U or Ryzen 7 3700U processor, as desired. Not to mention an AMD Radeon Vega 8 or 10 graphics processor, sufficient to enjoy some games that consume little power. Finally, these machines have 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD.

The peculiarity of MagicBook is to welcome certain innovations of Huawei MateBook X. Thus, the webcam is hidden under a button. A well thought out physical cache that has proven itself. Likewise, a fingerprint sensor is present on the PC’s ignition button. Convenient to protect your session.
The aluminum chassis adopts a high-end design and offers complete connectivity, unlike the MateBook. On the agenda: a USB 2.0 Type-A port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a USB Type-C port, as well as an HDMI port.

These PCs are built for ultra mobility. The 14 inch version weighs 1.38 kg on the scale, while the 15 inch version weighs 1.58 kg. Enduring, Honor promises almost 10 hours of autonomy in video playback and a 46% recharge in half an hour with the USB Type-C port. Last precision that is important: computers run Windows 10, Microsoft can still equip Huawei / Honor products.
The MagicBook (in the 14 and 15 inch version) will be marketed in Europe at the end of March, at a starting price of € 599. Excellent value for money on paper.
