London – Japanese automaker Honda reported Tuesday that it was the target of a cyberattack but said its impact was limited.
In a statement, the company indicated that “there was a cyber attack on the Honda network.”
He announced that there was no information leak and that he is working to “minimize the impact and restore full functionality of the production, sale and development of activities.”
“At this time, we have detected limited impact to our functions,” the company said in its statement.
Like other auto companies, Honda has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic and has been unable to fully resume production. It reported large losses for the fiscal period ended in March, when the outbreak depressed sales and the productive capacity of companies.
