jpnn.com, JAKARTA – PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) is again adding new options to motor sport fans in Indonesia, through the launch of the Honda CBR250RR SP and the regular version.
“We are trying to understand the various desires of consumers to experience the Total Control DNA of the Honda CBR250RR Series,” said AHM Marketing Director Thomas Wijaya in a press release, Monday.
“We offer two options namely the CBR250RR SP and CBR250RR while maintaining the aggressive appearance and high performance typical of 250cc motorbikes.”
Honda CBR250RR comes with a new color choice Bravery Red Black, which carries a black and red aggressive color combination. While the SP type has a Racing Red color choice.
In the performance sector, the CBR250RR maintains a 250cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC 8-valve, 2-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 38.7 PS at 12,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 23.3 Nm at 11,000 rpm.
Unlike the CBR250RR SP type, the engine is claimed to be more powerful, which produces 41 PS at 3,000 rpm and a maximum torque of up to 25 Nm at 11,000 rpm.
The SP model is equipped with the Assist and Slipper Clutch feature which prevents the rear tire from slipping due to the engine brake during extreme downshifts, and the clutch operation is lighter.
In addition, there is also a special Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) feature in the SP type.
