In June, Apple launches three new audio formats on Apple Music; Dolby Atmos, Lossless and Hi-res lossless. Funny enough though None of Apple’s headphones or speakers support just lossless.
Now, however, new information comes in a recently published support document from Apple. Homepod and Homepod Mini will get support for lossless with a future update.
Airpods Max will also receive support for lossless, but only via cord. The reason is that the current bluetooth standard does not support the richer audio format.
