“We’re talking to F1, that’s right. We’ve talked about the idea of having a spectatorless race here on the track. “If we can find a date, we can say what the costs are and then we can work it out together or not. That could be a small advantage in our conversations. I think the current quarantine situation in Britain is decisive”, Teske continued.
“What is really crucial for us is that we don’t have to wait months. We have to book our circuit because there is a lot of demand for it. But Formula 1 is aware and understands our situation,” said Teske, who small eight that Hockenheim will be part of the F1 calendar next year.
