History of iPhone Models: From iPhone 6S to iPhone 15

iPhone redefining the term “cell phone.” Trademark products Apple revolutionized the mobile phone industry, moving from flip phones and keyboards to large screens and powerful cameras.

With a reported 1.2 billion units sold, the iPhone is arguably the world’s most popular technology device.

Most recently, Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 on Tuesday which is packed with new features such as a USB-C charging port, new colors and better battery performance. Here’s a look back at the iPhone series from time to time:

The release of the first-ever iPhone, a highly anticipated device that combined an iPod, a telephone, and what CEO Steve Jobs called an “internet communicator.”

“Today is the day I’ve been waiting for the last 2.5 years,” said Jobs when he launched his innovation for US$399 (Rp. 6.1 million), a 16 GB cell phone with a 2.0 megapixel camera and a relatively large 3.5 inch screen. big.

With the iPhone 4S, Apple introduced the world to Siri, the iconic voice assistant, and the iMessage feature that allows iPhone users to send messages to each other freely. Users are also provided with iCloud making it possible to automatically sync all Apple devices.

Apple released the iPhone 5C which comes in full color. iPhone 5C hits the market as a low-cost alternative to the 5S series.

The phone is available in green, blue, pink, yellow and white. However, the iPhone 5C was short-lived after Apple discontinued the product a few years later.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launched in 2014. The iPhone 6 Plus was the first ‘Plus’ option on an Apple device, offering a phone that was much taller and thinner, but also prone to bending.

Users have complained about the ‘curvy’ iPhone body on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
