Al-Ahly midfielder Abdul Rahman Adel, lawyer for Karim Nedved, confirmed that the player will sue his German qualification center to demand compensation for the damages he suffered after the surgeries he underwent.
Nedved underwent two knee surgeries after the first operation he underwent during last April due to a cartilage cut, before the inflamed part was removed in the other.
Abdul Karim Adel, in exclusive statements to Koura at night Sunday evening, said: “Karim Nedved will file a lawsuit against the German center, which he mistakenly rehabilitated, which caused him to experience knee problems.”
He added: “Radiology and all medical reports were presented to doctors in Germany and America in order to find out the error, and indications confirm that the doctor who performed the rehabilitation, not the surgery, is behind this.”
He continued: “Karim Nedved will fly to Germany after two weeks in order to follow up the situation, but travel has been suspended so far due to concerns related to the Corona virus.”
At the conclusion of his statements, the player’s lawyer indicated that Karim Nedved will not be able to return to participate in the matches before Al-Ahly next August.
