A heartbreaking story comes from one ape and a human being. These two creatures are best friends until one of them dies.
Reported by The sunPeetambaram Rajan is a 56 year old man living in Sri Lanka. Rajan reportedly died suddenly at his home due to the illness.
During his lifetime, Rajan had a close friend, a wild gray monkey. Rajan always feeds the monkey fruit and cookies every day.
But last Monday it looked different. The monkey found his friend lying stiff in the crate.
Looking around, the monkey was perched on the edge of Rajan’s coffin. His hand stroked Rajan’s chin several times.
The mourners were so moved. The monkey bowed softly and kissed Rajan’s face.
As if he knew his friend’s departure, this langur gave two goodbye kisses. Rajan’s face was again gently rubbed by the monkey.
This sad moment is not over yet, the langur still hopes that Rajan can wake up. The langur pulled Rajan’s hand which had been tied, he couldn’t help but the monkey couldn’t pull it.
After a while, the mourners seemed to signal that he had to go. The monkey finally left and the funeral began.
