To this end, a school message has been issued informing them that they will go to schools to vaccinate girls, boys and adolescents.
This activity is part of a national campaign to Recovery Vaccination Coverage 2024, so in this school message the mother, father or guardian is informed about the action that the health sector will carry out.
It is made known that this action is with the objective of protecting the health and life of minors against diseases that are prevented by vaccination.
What vaccines are applied?
The vaccines that will be applied will be against diseases such as measles, rubella, rotavirus, poliomyelitis, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), tetanus and others that are preventable.
Another purpose of this national campaign is to reduce the complications and risks that children may have, as well as the spread of diseases between people.
For this reason, in Hidalgo they began to go to schools last week to review the Health Card and guide them to receive the vaccine they need according to their age.
This national campaign began on April 1 and ends on May 31, so parents should be attentive to this school message that will be delivered by the teachers of each school.
Parents are asked to sign the informed consent where the vaccine is accepted and they are also asked not to forget to take care of and have ready the national health card for their daughters and sons, as well as their CURP.
An example of vaccines is that children under 12 months old must be vaccinated against polio and if they are four years old and have not been vaccinated, they can do so during this national campaign.
It is emphasized that all vaccines are free in the public health sector and are available in the 32 entities of the country.
