Hidalgo exceeds five million vaccines applied against covid-19

The application of the vaccine against covid-19 maintains positive progress in Hidalgo, affirmed the delegate of the Welfare Programs in the entity, Abraham Mendoza Zenteno, since at the moment more than five million 400 thousand doses were applied to people in the age groups older than 12 years, which represents a target population of about two million 500 thousand hidalguenses.

He highlighted the position of the entity at the national level, since derived from the work of the Roadrunner Brigadesas well as all the areas involved, there is a wide coverage of the population inoculated with any of the available biologicals, in addition to the fact that the population aged 12 and over has already been covered, for which not only adults are served, but also teenagers.

“The coverage we have reflects a broad advance, because of this population of more than two million 500 thousand people, they have at least one dose above 94 percent of the population older than 12 years; of them, more than 80 percent already have complete schemes; and with more than 60 percent reinforcement, then we are doing well and waiting to continue serving the groups that we are missing, ”he said.

Likewise, Mendoza Zenteno recalled the installation of 27 permanent vaccination centers around the entire stateoffices that can be consulted through social networks or the official page of the Welfare Delegation in Hidalgo, so that those who do not have a dose of the vaccine come, since it is an incentive to control the covid-19 disease. 19.

“It is important to be protected between now and the winter season, because in it the contagions due to the weather can be triggered a little,” he said; likewise, for the vaccine for children under 12 years of age in the entity, he added, they must wait for the indications of the state health sector, because although there are many times with the biological one, they do not have the necessary supplies for its application, for which reason the logistics of the Health Sector of Hidalgo, Secretariat de Salud de Hidalgo (SSH), for which the population must be aware of the locations and mechanics to apply this vaccine to this population sector.
