Just before At 09.00 on Tuesday, Sørloth left the five-star hotel Steigenberger in the center of Leipzig. He made the v-sign when he came out and got into a car waiting for him.
The Norwegian top scorer was tight-lipped about TV 2.
– Are you looking forward to being introduced as an RB Leipzig player?
– Yes, Sørloth answered in the affirmative.
Now Sørloth will complete the medical test before signing a contract with last season’s Champions League semi-finalist.

TV 2 was informed on Monday that the club wants to present Sørloth as a new player on Wednesday or Tuesday night.
The 24-year-old is said to have already taken the photos to be used for the publication. TV 2 has also been informed that he was at the fitness center and met the Leipzig management on Monday night.
RB Leipzig came in third place in the Bundesliga last season and will play Champions League football this season as well. Most recently, they reached the semifinals of the tournament.
The club is led by Julian Nagelsmann (33), who is considered one of the football world’s most exciting coaches. This summer, they sold the club’s top scorer, Timo Werner, to Chelsea. Thus, the club has a vacant top spot for Sørloth.
– It is a big step up both in terms of club and league. He can really have great success in Leipzig and the Bundesliga. He has been fantastic in Trabzonspor. When he has self-confidence and is in shape, he has some strengths that are at the very top of Europe. Sørloth to a type of club like Leipzig is very good. Just look at how he has been last season, points out TV 2’s football expert Jesper Mathisen, and aims for Sørloth to score 24 goals in 34 games for Trabzonspor last season.
