Sony does not only have the new Thursday evening design of the PlayStation 5, but also a large number of games that will appear for the new game console. These are the most important announcements in a row.
Dutch studio steals the show
Sony showed dozens of trailers in an hour of games that we can expect on the PlayStation 5. The valve was a game by the Dutch studio Guerrilla Games, which was the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn from 2017. The new part goes Horizon: Forbidden West called.

Old games revived
Recently, new versions of old games are increasingly released. They are often made a lot nicer. Sony joins this trend and announces a remaster of Demon’s Souls from 2009 on. With the game Oddworld: Soulstorm Sony goes even further back in time: to 1998, the year in which Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus came true. Oddworld: Soulstorm is a new, expanded version of this title. The game was previously announced, but on Thursday evening Sony showed extensive images of the game for the first time.
Two big announcements from Insomniac Games
The studio Insomniac Games is part of Sony and was prominent during the presentation with two large games. The studio’s first reveal was Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This is not a new Spider-Man game, but a reissue of the studio’s first Spider-Man game, with a nicer design and a more elaborate story. In the game, players take on the role of a new Spider-Man: Miles Morales from the Marvel movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
In addition, Insomniac Games has announced a new title for the Ratchet & Clankfranchise. The studio showed extensive gameplay footage from Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart see. With the images it is striking that many enemies and special effects are shown at the same time. That requires a lot of processing power from the game console and therefore gives a first idea of what the new PlayStation 5 is capable of.
Striking new titles
