A 44-year-old mother died Friday evening at her home in Épinay-sur-Seine, in Seine-Saint-Denis, stabbed informs Le Parisien.
The person suspected of having killed her is her ex-husband, aged 51. Placed in pre-trial detention in Fleury-Mérogis (Essonne) prison, he would have benefited from an exit permit to go to the victim’s home according to Le Parisien.
The suspect reportedly went to the woman’s home and initially shot her with an electric pulse pistol. He then allegedly grabbed a knife to hit her. The victim’s two children were in the apartment when help arrived.
“Women in very great danger” system
The suspected man reportedly went to the police station shortly after to confess his facts.
The forty-something, she benefited from the device “women in very great danger”. Thus, this woman must have been in possession of a “serious danger” telephone issued by decision of the public prosecutor. It allows you to be put in contact via an emergency call button directly with the police via a special line.
Seine-Saint-Denis is the first French department to have experimented with this device in 2009, reminiscent of Le Parisien. The latter is now extended to the whole country.
