Heidingsfeld: Fire broke out in the warehouse

On Saturday afternoon, the police and fire brigade were called to a fire in a warehouse in Heidingsfeld. The fire, which, according to the police, was allegedly caused by welding and flexing work, was quickly extinguished. People were not harmed.

At around 12.30 p.m., the police operations center was informed of a fire in a warehouse in Hinteren Kirchbergweg. Thick smoke could already be seen several hundred meters away. The fire brigade quickly got the fire under control and was able to extinguish the flames. People were not harmed. The damage was put at around 10,000 euros.

The Würzburg City Police Inspectorate took over the investigation of the cause of the fire, the first findings are likely to be in welding and flexing work that had been carried out shortly before in the hall.
