VG updates the case!

It appears in a press release from the Oslo Public Prosecutor’s Office, which states that the indictment covers 61 travel invoices submitted in the period September 2016 – October 2018.

In total, the indictment applies to an amount of just over NOK 115,000.

The press release from the public prosecutor further states:

“Charges have been brought for intentional gross fraud, as the prosecuting authority believes that Liadal knew that the travel invoices contained incorrect information and that she submitted them in order to receive payments from the Storting which she knew she was not entitled to. Furthermore, proof can be provided for this. Liadal has not pleaded guilty to the charges.

Intentional fraud has a penalty of six years.

The case has been with the police for 17 months after the Storting reported the Storting representative. Liadal has all the way expressed that she did not do it on purpose, but that it is about mistakes and misunderstandings.
