Emergency personnel reported waterlogging and landslides in different sectors of the Maule region.

The frontal system that affects the south central zone of the country has left fHeavy rainfall during the day in the Maule region.
As reported by the local media TV Maulinos, due to rainfall, in Talca, the Baeza canal overflowed in front of the Regional Supply Center (CREA).

Emergency teams warned that only two underpasses are enabled, as they are flooded.
In addition, flooding and landslides occurred in different sectors of the Maule region as a result of the frontal system.

This Sunday, the Directorate Chile Weather issued a warning for “normal to moderate” precipitation for the Coquimbo, Valparaíso, Metropolitana, Rancagua, Maule, Ñuble and Biobío regions.
