Reggio Calabria, due to the violent storm, the streets were completely flooded with consequent inconvenience
Due to the violent storm that hit the city of Reggio Calabria this morning, the streets were completely submerged by water. Many inconveniences have been recorded in the city where numerous cars have been stuck in the streets both in the northern and southern suburbs due to the water that has reached very high levels and could not even drain, probably due to the manholes clogged with waste that now invade city. In the photos accompanying the article we can see the serious situation that has arisen this morning in the San Leo underpass which for years has been flooding every time there are storms and photos taken in via del Gelsomino at street number 26 where the residents are unable to leave their homes as there is almost a meter of water inside the doors.
In San Leo some cars got stuck and divers had to intervene on the spot. Several requests for intervention in these hours to the police for blown manholes, inconvenience in the streets or completely flooded streets. At the moment the situation is complex but there are no serious situations.
