Books – Ahmad Jumaa:

A source in the Ministry of Health and Population revealed that instructions have been issued to the bodies and agencies affiliated with the ministry and all hospitals, to stop “non-compulsory” leave as part of the ministry’s plan to confront the second wave of the emerging corona virus.

This comes in conjunction with the increase in the number of daily infections recorded by the Ministry of Health, as the Ministry recorded, on Friday, 363 new positive cases and 13 deaths, bringing the total number that was recorded in Egypt with the virus 112,318 positive cases, including 101,685 cases that were cured, and 6,521 deaths. .

The source explained to Masrawy, today, Saturday, that the non-compulsory leave at the Ministry of Health includes travel abroad, caring for a family, improving income or accompanying a husband.

It is decided that the granting or renewal of licenses for doctors, nursing staff, technicians, administrators, and all health sector workers will be suspended.

Last June, the Ministry of Health decided to suspend the acceptance of all kinds of leave (childcare – travel abroad – accompanying a husband – caring for a family inside the country), for a period of 3 months, as part of its procedures to deal with the Corona virus.
