Health reports the highest daily number so far: 208 positive for COVID-19



Puerto Rico reached today, Saturday, a total of 4,915 unique positive cases to COVID-19, after the Health Department reported 208 infections that correspond to results obtained in recent days and another 87 from previous dates that the agency had not reported.

The accumulated figures correspond to the period from April 15 to May 19, according to a press release sent by the agency.

San Juan continues as the municipality with the most reported cases (663), followed by Bayamón (305) and Guaynabo (244). Meanwhile, the Metro region is where there are the largest number of cases with 1,372, followed by the Bayamón region (955), Caguas (675) and Ponce (630).

Likewise, patients between 50 and 59 years of age dominate the age range with the highest number of infections (989), followed by the group of 40 to 49 years (863) and that of 30 to 39 years (745).
